GIACOMO VANELLI

Giacomo Vanelli is a musician and composer who creates ambient and experimental electronic music. 

The pieces are characterised by a unique sound research that combines digital and natural. In addition to the use of his synthetic sounds, his composition is implemented and influenced by acoustic and electroacoustic instruments, which, controlled by self-generative processes, change in timbre, tone and volume, thus generating deep and constantly moving sound textures.

Field recordings, samples and voices are added to provide multiple layers of sound, sometimes obvious other times synthesised, modified and rendered unrecognisable.

With the intention of increasing his sound research and creating a world far removed from classical composition, he chooses the modular synth as his main instrument, with whose versatility he manages to accurately define a very personal musical dimension in which to guide the listener.
